Hampton Conservatories at the Chelsea Flower ShowRecently, three established Irish companies joined forces to provide the ultimate design package for any house or home and launched their collaboration at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London. Design House, Garuda Design and Hampton Conservatories collaborated to provide clients with a one stop design service to include conservatories, kitchens and living spaces with high end interior design. All three companies have developed individually over the last number of years with a portfolio of clients throughout the world. During the years, many of these clients, both private and commercial have employed the services of these Design House, Hampton Conservatories and Garuda Design on the same projects, so that, this collaboration naturally evolved as the next step forward.

This collaboration was launched at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show where the three companies exhibited within a Hampton Conservatories specially designed light-filled orangery housing a fully functioning kitchen from Design House and living area leading to a terrace and garden area. The L-shaped structure was specially designed for the event and included full room with bi-folding doors from the kitchen opening onto a paved terrace designed by Paul Avis with exquisite wild flower planting complementing the garden design. The structure was designed not only to showcase the latest trends in design and construction, but also to maximise light and natural flows throughout the areas of the orangery; double doors allowing flows from kitchen to living and terrace areas. Design House showcased it?s latest collection from Sub Zero & Wolf teamed with the latest in kitchen accessories accented by bespoke Italian marble surfaces. Garuda Design brought a relaxed elegant feel to the space using soft aqua and pale earth accents. A tiger wood oak floor set the tone and was complemented by hand blown Murano chandeliers, classical rugs and elegant French furniture. Combined, the exhibit showcased the latest collections and trends available from Hampton Conservatories, Design House and Garuda Design in a truly elegant setting.

Since 1995, Chris Donaghy of the Design House has brought high end tailored kitchens to the Irish and UK markets. Since inception, they have been working with individuals, construction companies and developers in the design and provision of tailored, exclusive kitchens. Earlier this year, Design House unveiled Ireland?s first Sub Zero & Wolf ?Living Kitchen?. Situated in Dalkey and comprising 1600 sq ft, the ?Living Kitchen? brings the international renowned Sub Zero and Wolf brands to life in an elegant American styled space. Comprising of a fully functional chef?s area, entertainment space and wine storage area, visitors can experience the full range of Sub Zero and Wolf appliances. Already the main distributor for the German Poggenpohl brand of kitchens in Ireland, this year, Design House developed their association with the Sub Zero and Wolf brands, already in their portfolio for a number of years. The introduction of the ?Living Kitchen? in Dalkey has established Design House as the main retailer of the brands in Ireland.
