Conservatory Without Glazed Roof
Solid Roof Conservatories
UK, Ireland, Europe & North America
One of the most distinguishing features of a conservatory is the roof, composed entirely of glazed panels. However, not all conservatories are designed in this way. In many instances, homeowners may opt for a roof composed of both glazed panels and solid roofing materials. These solid aspects of the room allow for additional shade during the summer months and a cosier feeling of enclosure during the colder, winter season.
Our bespoke conservatories are designed to allow the maximum amount of light to enter the room; choosing a solid roof design doesn’t impact this. Our team of expert designers will create the perfect ratio of glazing around the perimeter of the build to ensure you receive the desired bright and airy atmosphere. With optional extras such as solar reflective glass, triple glazing, automated ventilation and underfloor heating, the conservatory can maintain a regular temperature all year round.
As conservatories have become more popular in recent years, we’ve seen them be utilised for a multitude of purposes. A common use for conservatory space is that of a kitchen, but they can also be used for extra dining or living space, as well as a children’s playroom or a home gym. The possibilities are endless.
