This stunning and original botanical glasshouse, with panoramic views across Long Island Sound and New York, was designed to provide an overwintering house for the owner’s prized orchid collection.
The glasshouse’s multiple opening sashes and domed roof, incorporating thermostatically controlled vents and rain sensors, ensure a stable ambient temperature all year round. Finished in Hampton Conservatories’ Leinster Green to fit in with the garden’s theme, the interlocking circular layout and curved roof fits perfectly with the architecture of this distinctive mansion and its terraced grounds.
