The Strangford Greenhouse

The Strangford model offers a different approach within the Hampton range, designed for gardens where a freestanding greenhouse may not be required, or where available space needs to be used more efficiently. Built around a refined lean-to design, it allows the greenhouse to sit naturally against a wall or garden boundary while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship and architectural consideration found throughout the range.

Having a slightly smaller footprint than the other Hampton models, The Strangford still creates generous growing space while responding elegantly to more constrained settings. Its balanced proportions and clean lines give it a simple, understated character that sits comfortably within courtyards, walled gardens and more compact landscapes, proving that even smaller spaces deserve exceptional design.

Positioning a greenhouse against an existing wall can also deliver practical growing advantages. The surrounding structure can help retain warmth and create a more stable internal environment, offering natural thermal benefits that support plants throughout changing seasons.

All internal and external timber surfaces are bevelled to encourage water runoff and minimise standing moisture.

Signature detailing

Precision-engineered fleur-de-lis structural brackets at the eaves and ridge provide structural strength and triangulation while reducing the need for heavy metal portal framing, creating a light, elegant architectural character.

Even Smaller Spaces Deserve Exceptional Design

The Strangford demonstrates that practical site constraints need not compromise on quality or architectural presence. While it offers a similar footprint to other Hampton models, its lean-to configuration provides a different approach, making use of spaces where a freestanding greenhouse may not be the most natural or practical solution.

Designed for gardens where space around a standalone greenhouse may be limited, The Strangford integrates naturally alongside walls, boundaries and existing garden structures. Rather than acting as a central focal point within the landscape, it can sit neatly and discreetly within the garden, creating a natural sense of structure while making intelligent use of available space.

For gardeners seeking a timber lean-to greenhouse that combines premium craftsmanship with intelligent design, The Strangford offers an elegant solution without compromise.
