Your Journey to Owning a Hampton Greenhouse

A step-by-step guide

Every Hampton greenhouse is crafted with meticulous attention to detail and care, but this begins long before the first piece of timber is cut in our workshop.

Our transparent, step-by-step consultation process brings together your garden, your lifestyle, and your horticultural expectations to refine the specification of your greenhouse, bringing your vision to life.

Four Greenhouse Styles

A truly luxurious greenhouse should not force a compromise between material efficiency and traditional beauty. Hampton greenhouses marry the timeless elegance of Victorian design with pioneering thermal engineering and moisture-protection technology, eliminating the flaws of the past without sacrificing soul.

The Process

The journey begins with inspiration. Browse our four unique models online to get a feel for which design best resonates with your dream greenhouse build, or request a copy of our printed brochure for a deeper look into our materials and craftsmanship.

The phone consultation

Once you have an understanding of our greenhouse models and which you may prefer, you’ll have the opportunity to discuss this further with our team. Through a detailed phone consultation, we will discuss your practical needs and design preferences to gain a clear understanding of how a Hampton greenhouse could best serve you. This conversation will cover your preferred model, size, and finish, how you intend to use your greenhouse, and the specific details and constraints of your garden space. This will also provide you with the opportunity to ask questions about our products or processes.

Concept and initial quotation

Following the consultation, our design team will generate a detailed specification and architectural render to help you visualise your greenhouse. This will be supplied alongside a quotation for the greenhouse as currently specified.

Experience the craftsmanship

As an optional step, we welcome you to visit our factory in Northern Ireland to tour our workshop and experience our precision engineering firsthand.

Virtual site assessment

While not required for every project, we may conduct a video call to assess the suitability of your chosen model for your garden and any accessibility issues that might occur during installation. In particularly complex projects, we may also arrange an in-person site visit.

Tailoring the details

At this stage, our team will discuss the optional enhancements available. Our range of finishing touches is designed to elevate both form and function, including additional roof vents, premium cold frames, and a curated range of plant display furniture.

Contract and base specifications

Our team will provide updated drawings and renders that include any selected enhancements, and a final quotation and contract. At this stage, we will also provide specifications for the concrete base, and where relevant, brickwork, as this work will need to be undertaken by your builder ahead of the greenhouse installation.

Signing the contract

When you’re completely satisfied with the specification of your greenhouse, it’s time to put pen to paper and officially get the process started. A 20% deposit is required initially, and then a further 30% when manufacturing begins. The remaining 50% is due before the greenhouse is delivered to your home.
